The Telly Awards annually showcase the best video work across all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award winners represent some of the best creative filmmakers around the world. Lemon Squeezy has collected 6 Telly Awards in just 3 years.
communicator awards
The Communicator Awards is an international program from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA) as a recognition of excellence in communication. “Dear Luca” was not only given the highest award of excellence, but it was also honored as a 2024 Official AIVA Team Pick (only 12 out of 3,000 are awarded this).
Short-Film Festivals
In between projects for clients, we create short films for fun. This is the passion, this is the goal, this is pod racing. Over the past year, several of our short films have premiered and earned status at local and international film festivals for editing, concept, and directing.
Filmsupply editfest
The International FilmSupply Editfest is a 30-day editing competition with over 1,200 entries. Participants cut and submit an edit made from stock footage and music for a chance to split $65K in prizes and feedback from respected industry creatives. I created a fake title sequence depicting the rise and eventual downfall of the Branch Davidian cult in Waco, Texas. My edit, Home Sweet Home, won 2nd place in the 2023 competition!

The Capture Summit Film Festival is a Christian media conference that honors excellence in faith-based filmmaking, storytelling, and cinematography. In 2023, “Bounce”, “Flourish”, and “The Way” were nominated and awarded for 3 awards including Best Concept.
